The audit Committee of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) has taken preventive measures, aiming at a fiscal correction in the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC). The reform plan of the management system developed by the Central Bank has opted for the prioritization of corrections to be taken in the budget, to avoid certain difficulties. The suspension by the International Monetary Fund disbursements to CEMAC countries between May and July 2010 was fraught with consequences for the countries of the sub-region.
