(Business in Cameroon) - Following a first successful phase which implemented first procurement procedures via a dedicated digital platform, South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding with Cameroon to fund the project’s second phase.

According to the Ministry of Public Procurement, more than 1,000 schemes have so far been programmed via the e-procurement platform. However, only 162 tenders have been launched. In order to boost the hub, the Minister of Public Procurement, Abba Sadou, encourages public procurement managers to launch at least 25% of tenders via the platform.
