(Business in Cameroon) - Limited results from Sigipes and Antilope, technologies that manage careers of civil servants and salaries in Cameroon have forced government to launch an international bid for state of the art software to take over.

The Minister of Finance, Alamine Ousmane Mey and that of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Michel-Ange Angouing during meeting in Yaoundé explained the reasons for the decision to the public on Monday May 6, 2013.

According to Alamine Ousmane Mey, the existing technologies are outdated and government is looking for an integrated system accessible in other parts of the country with a click.

To cost 7 billion francs CFA, the European Union will provide the funds and scan the best partners while the State of Cameroon will collect data.

Besides managing salaries and careers of civil servants, government want to extend the offer to taxes and others, said Alamine Ousame Mey.
