(Business in Cameroon) - On April 12, 2018, in the morning, the Cameroonian customs posted at Fotokol intercepted 50 kg of Tramol, the regional tri-weekly l’Oeil du Sahel reveals.

According to the tri-weekly, at the customs post, a motorcyclist refused to stop as he was asked so, the customs pursued him. Seeing that he was being pursued, the motorcyclist threw the load, he obviously took from Gambarou (a border with Nigeria), before he ran away.

When they rummaged through the load, the customs found an important quantity of Tramol, a pharmaceutical product used by young people as narcotic and particularly appreciated by members of Boko Haram, the Islamist sect which is wreaking havoc in the Far-North region.
