Cameroon: Raw log exports to the EU dropped 14% in H1,2019

(Business in Cameroon) - In H1, 2019, Cameroon’s raw log exports to the EU dropped by 14% to 7,000 metric tons, according to figures published by the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).

This unexplained downward trend was also noticed in the supplies of other EU’s African suppliers except for Congo and Liberia.

The Central African Republic’s exports to the EU dropped by 7% to 9,500 metric tons against respective drops of 29% to 7,100 metric tons and 49% to 2,900 metric tons for DRC and Equatorial Guinea.
