Biya Appoints New Budget, Taxation DGs

(Business in Cameroon) - In a presidential decree signed Last Friday June 14, Paul Biya appointed new Director Generals of Budget and Taxation and maintained those of Customs and Treasury in the Ministry of Finance.

Samba Antoine Félix becomes the Director General of Budget.

Formerly, the senior civil administrator was Director of General Affairs in the Ministry of Mines, Industries and Technological Development.

And, Mopa F. Modeste who until Friday was with the International Monetary Fund was appointed Director General of Taxes.

Minette Libom Li Likeng, DG of Customs since January 17, 2008 was maintained while Sylvester Moh Tangongho who until Friday was interim Director General of Treasury and Monetary Cooperation since October 25, 2011 after the death of Hamadou Sambo was confirmed.
