(Business in Cameroon) - On February 25, 2013, the Minister of Public Contracts, Abba Sadou, chaired a conference aimed at identify projects programmed in 2013, and draw up a calendar for the award of contracts, in order to respect deadlines.

Instituted in 2008, after this ceremony, the 11 units in charge of awarding contracts at the regions (two in the centre and 9 in other regions) will establish another calendar at their level, and have till March 1 to do so.

As innovation in the public contracts sector, the deadline for the award of contracts has moved from 90 days to 30 days.
