(Business in Cameroon) - Financed by the municipality of Bertoua II and, the support fund to councils, Feicom at 98 million francs CFA, Centre Pasteur, a reputed laboratory said the water from the wells was fit for drinking.

Water that comes out of these holes is clear and clean, It was analyzed in Centre Pasteur,” Messing Balla, a hydraulic engineer confirmed at the site.

Inhabitants regard the wells as a stitch in time. “We are finally relieved. Now we have clean water at hand. I am short of words to express my joy!” the district head, Ngaikada I Mambéré Emmanuel told the state-run Cameroon Tribune on June 25 at the reception ceremony in Bertoua.

Management committees exist in each neighborhood to follow up on maintenance.
